Federal Judge Dismisses Negligence Per Se Claims In Pennsylvania Action

PHILADELPHIA - A federal judge in Pennsylvania on July 20 dismissed a nursing home plaintiff's negligence per se claims against Northern Health Facilities Inc., saying the claims for violations of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) did not meet the requirements for a private cause of action (Thomas George v.
