PHILADELPHIA – A Pennsylvania trial judge on April 12 agreed to reduce a $5 million verdict awarded to the widow of a Jeanes Hospital and Hillcrest Convalescent Home Inc. resident to $2.5 million, saying the ratio of punitive damages to compensatory damages is now more reasonable (Shirley Blango, et al. v.
